WELCOME TO GR GOALKEEPER SCHOOL GR Goalkeeper School was set up with the aim of providing goalkeepers of all standards, safe and enjoyable goalkeeping coaching sessions. We aim to provide goalkeepers with the necessary skills to progress and enjoy the art of goalkeeping. Our goalkeepers learn in a fun and relaxed environment and will only be asked to complete exercises they feel comfortable with.
Head Coach Glenn Goudie is a qualified FA Goalkeeping Coach and former semi-professional goalkeeper. All our coaches are FA qualified and hold CRB and First Aid Certificates and are members of The FA Coaches Association. Goalkeepeing sessions take place at Thatcham Town,Waterside Park, Thatcham. Facilities include grass training area, floodlights and changing rooms. NEW SESSIONS A new term of goalkeeping coaching begins Thursday 2nd September. Contact the school for more details
Company History Head coach Glenn Goudie has coached over 200 goalkeepers in recent years and it is his aim to assist the goalkeepers he coaches to become more confident, technically sound and fulfil their potential. Glenn is a qualified FA Coach and also holds FA Goalkeeping badges. Glenn is now Assistant manager/ goalkeeping coach at Thatcham Town FC 1st team. Glenn has also worked with a number of goalkeepers from clubs in and around the Reading and Berkshire area such as AFC Caversham, Eldon Celtic, Ascot United, Westwood Wanderers, Theale Tigers and Purley Jubilee to name a few.
